Headache kind of a day!!

I managed to get a tension headache this morning. Yippee!! It's going away finally though. After 3 tension excedrine, a glass of pepsi and something hot to eat, and putting my glasses on, it's going away.

The weekend was dull, but much needed. We just hung out. Tom and I went for a car ride on Sat. My back was getting sore so we headed home. Sunday Tom's mom called us and asked us over for some supper. We had a nice time, then we all went for ice cream.

We watched Contender last night and then Grey's anatomy. Im pulling for Jesse or Joe in Contender.

We are going to see an apt. tonight. Tom and I would both like to move from the secind floor to a first floor apt. Between his foot and my back we really need it. Plus the parking at the building we are in right now stinks. We live in one of the best complexes in the county and if we are going to move into another apt. it will be here. We would like to buy a house after my daughter gradauates in 2oo6.

Well, better run. Today is Joel's early day at school and he will be home any minute and will want to jump on the computer.

Long Night, chilly morning

Last night Mckenzie was here. We had our supper. I called Nate to see where he was because we wanted to go shopping. He said to go and he would just come to the house and wait. Well, it took us awhile and he wanted to get home. So, my daughter was upset because she couldn't have more time to find something to wear, and Kenzie was upset because she couldn't get a bath at mom mom's. Ambyr is 17 and is just such an emotional hothead. It drives me crazy. She would bend over backwards for me, and do anything for me but when she get's like that (which is often), UGH!!!!!

It's chilly outside this morning. It was in the 80's yesterday and now it's dropped back into the 60's and 50's next week!

Tonight is Tracy's viewing. Im dreading it. We are bringing Kenzie home with us. She is spending the night.

Im picking mbyr up from school early to take her to Target and Kmart to see if she can find a shirt to match the skirt she got last night. I may look for a shirt as well.

Well, that's it for now. I will be back tomorrow, if Kenzie gives me the time to sit at the computer.

Good Morning

Ok this is the 3rd time I have tried to post today.. The first 2 times were nice long BLOGS but Im tired of writing the same old depressing story. So here is the lighter version, the happy one. My granddaughter is coming this afternoon. YEAH! I love having her over.

Not much on the agenda today, I pulled ham out of the freezer for supper. Kenzie loves ham. I have to go to the store for some basics, milk, bread , etc....

Im going shopping tonight to find a shirt that matches the pants im wearing to Tracy's viewing. She requested that nobody wear black.

Well, that's about it. Cross your fingers that this one works!!

My first BLOG!!!

Hi there, this is my first Blog and my first post. Im starting off on a sad note. My daughter in laws mother passed away yesterday after a 15 month fight with Leaukemia. She was only 38 years old. She has 5 children at home ages 15 months to 14 years. We weren't close or anything, when Brandy became pregnant to my son she was still in high school. They kicked her out, they weren't very nice to her or Nate. As time passed things did get better for all of them. Her last wish was to see her and Nate get married so they did. We are all excited about that, they have been engaged for 3 years! Anyway, Im just feeling so many emotions right now. They are very private people so they won't except any help from us, watching children, etc.... On top of that my mom, who is a piece of work pulled a real goodie the other day and Im mad at her. Now how does that sound, Brandy loses her mom and Im mad at mine. UGH! You see, im just banging my head against the wall. My mom was being nosy the other day. She says' she was out looking at houses (even though they are not in the market to buy one) and she drove past Brandy's parents house and the kids plus my granddaughter was outside playing. She stopped and rolled down her window and called to Mckenzie and told the other kids it was ok to let her come over to the car because she was her grandma! They didn't know that, they don't know her from adam! Well, Nate and Brandy came over that night and jumped on me about what she did. I called her and made her cry trying to explain that in today's world what she did was so wrong. We teach kids to never, ever, go running over to a car like that. I explained the Brandy's siblings had no idea who she was. She pulls this kind of crap all of the time, im exhausted. Oh yea, she is a cancer survivor too! I went through alot with her over the last 2 years.

Well, thats it for now. I have to get some work done. Kenzie was here for 2 days and I have to play catch up this afternoon.
